WTH Henry County Diagnostic Center Earns Prestigious ACR Reaccreditation in CT and MRI Imaging.

Paris, TN (April 8, 2025) — West Tennessee Healthcare Henry County Diagnostic Center is proud to announce that it has been awarded a three-year term of reaccreditation in Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) by the American College of Radiology® (ACR®). These reaccreditations are a significant recognition of the Diagnostic Center’s commitment to the highest standards in imaging quality and patient safety.

These achievements are a direct reflection of the exceptional work led by Courtney Flowers, BSRS, CRA, RT(R)(CT)(MR), Director of Imaging Services. Under her leadership, the imaging team at the Diagnostic Center has continually demonstrated excellence, professionalism, and a patient-first approach that has now been honored on a national level.

“We are incredibly proud of our diagnostic team,” said Flowers. “Their dedication, expertise, and commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and reliable imaging services have earned this recognition. May all the credit go to the technologists—they truly do a fantastic job.”

CT, or CAT scanning, is a noninvasive medical test used to help physicians diagnose and tailor treatment plans for a variety of conditions. An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a diagnostic imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed images of organs, bones, muscles, and blood vessels, without using ionizing radiation.

The ACR gold seal of accreditation is awarded only to facilities that meet the organization’s rigorous standards, which include image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, and quality assurance programs. These reaccreditation processes include a peer-review evaluation by board- certified radiologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field.

These honors reflect West Tennessee Healthcare’s ongoing mission to deliver advanced medical imaging with the utmost care and precision and reinforces the Diagnostic Center’s role as a trusted provider in our community.
