PARIS, TN – Henry County Medical Center is proud to announce that Kelly Winston, Executive Assistant to Lisa Casteel, Chief Executive Officer at Henry County Medical Center, recently received her Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP) certification from the Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals (AHCAP).
According to the AHCAP website, the Certified Healthcare Administrative Professional (cHAP) certification provides a measure of proficiency for administrative professionals who work within healthcare organizations. cHAP designees are recognized as having superior skills, knowledge and experience within the field of healthcare administration. Those who pass the cHAP examination are granted use of the cHAP designation by the Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals (AHCAP). cHAP certification must be renewed every three years.
The application process to be considered for the examination was over 45 pages of information that had to be submitted. AHCAP is fully committed to ensuring that cHAP remains the most respected designation in the healthcare administration field by maintaining a credible and relevant certification program.

Winston joined Henry County Medical Center in 2017 as Executive Assistant and has a BSBA with emphasis in Business Management. Before joining HCMC, Winston held the position of Assistant Director at the Gibson County Office on Aging. She moved to Paris in June 2016 and is married to Scotty Winston. Between them, they have three children, Grayson, Corban and Cohen. She is a past member of Tennessee Federation of Aging and is a current member of Tennessee Healthcare Administrative Professionals along with Association for Healthcare Administrative Professionals. Winston is an avid runner and attends church at TVCC with her family.
