Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Center director of nursing, Michelle Seaton, RN, recently announced that Tyler Patterson, RN, has been named the interim director of the hospital’s Emergency Department.
“Tyler has been a valued member of our team in different areas of the hospital since his arrival to HCMC,” Seaton said of Patterson. “Tyler’s ability to relentlessly search for solutions to problems and find innovative ways to improve a difficult situation is the key to his success. He will be an asset to our leadership team.”
Patterson came to HCMC in 2022 and began working in the Critical Care Unit before later moving to nursing supervisor. His tenure as interim Emergency Department Director began in March of this year.
“The Emergency Department is so important in providing care to this community and surrounding areas that we serve,” said Patterson. “As the director, I feel that I have the chance to build on an efficient and safe environment with an excellent team of nurses and staff to provide the needed care for this community.”
Patterson grew up in nearby Waverly, TN, and graduated from Waverly Central High School in 2015. He then went on to Bethel University where he graduated in 2019 with a BSN in nursing. He currently lives in New Johnsonville, TN, and he and his wife are expecting their first baby.
