Paris, TN – For the third straight year, Henry County Medical Center will be hosting the Stewart County Health Expo at the Stewart County Visitors Center on Friday, July 26 from 8:30-11:00 a.m. This event is free and open to the public.
There will be door prizes, snacks, education, and screenings. Screenings include blood pressures, blood sugar, cholesterol lipid panel, weight and body mass index, osteoporosis, and balance checks. Information will be provided by physician practices, pharmacy assistance, the Healthcare Center, chronic disease management, and other service lines associated with Henry County Medical Center.
Participants are asked to fast for 8 hours prior to the health screening if they plan to participate in blood sugar checks or cholesterol lipid panel.
“Henry County Medical Center is excited to offer these services to the residents of Stewart County,” said Lori Stambaugh, Community Educator. “Preventative health screenings provide great information relating to early disease risk so that you can take steps with your doctor to prevent chronic illnesses.”
