Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation Announces Brett Toombs as 2024 McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship Winner

Paris, Tennessee — June 17, 2024 — The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation is proud to announce Brett Toombs, a distinguished graduate from McKenzie High School, as the recipient of the 2024 McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship. Brett will be attending the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in the fall, where she plans to major in Physical Therapy.

The McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship, established to support students pursuing careers in the healthcare field, offers a total of $6,000, payable over four years at $1,500 per year. This scholarship is awarded to one deserving McKenzie High School student each year, aiming to foster the next generation of healthcare professionals in Tennessee. Eligible fields of study include nursing, radiology technology, paramedic training, physical therapy technology, and respiratory technology.

Brett Toombs was selected for this prestigious scholarship based on her academic achievements, dedication to her community, and commitment to pursuing a career in physical therapy.
