Paris, TN – In an effort to be transparent with the community and provide answers to the many questions that have been asked on our social media sites over the past few weeks, Henry County Medical Center will be hosting a news conference for local media today, Tuesday, January 5 at 3 p.m. in the HCMC Board Room.
The news conference will update the community on the first day of vaccination for COVID-19 as well as provide a state of the organization in its response to the pandemic locally. Over the past few weeks, HCMC has seen periods in the organization where we were at bed capacity because of the strain on our resources, causing us to transfer patients where we could and postpone surgical cases. HCMC wants to provide the community an update on our situation and answer any questions that have been posted to our social media sites.
If you would like to pose a question to HCMC, please do so by e-mailing tdaughrity@hcmc-tn.org by 1 p.m. today or sending us a private message on our social media sites. You can also call the Find Line at 731-644-3463.
This event will only be open to the media for onsite attendance, but HCMC will host an FB Live of the event for community members to watch. A recap will also be on our website under news and event.
