Paris, TN – During July’s Department Director meeting, Henry County Medical Center recognized two as Department Director of the Quarter for April – June 2022. McCormick was recognized for her contributions to the organization through all the events for partners as well as her work ethic.
Without a doubt, there is one thing that is consistent about HCMC and HCHC employee, staff and provider events, and that is the electric energy that is generated by our very own Lori McCormick. All one has to do is utter “we are planning a celebration” ….and her eyes start to sparkle.
McCormick has been involved with our partner appreciation day, nurse’s week, and hospital week celebrations and two retirement parties. She consistently puts herself in the middle of the planning and never once shuffled it off as anyone else’s responsibility to coordinate.
McCormick makes every event memorable. She personally assures that everyone feels special with her warm and engaging smile. She is always going above and beyond to ensure that no staff are left behind when it comes to special events for the organization. She will jump in a van and make sure that no clinic goes without whatever goodies we have at HCMC and HCHC.
“We appreciate Lori’s commitment to HCMC, HCHC and its affiliated clinics and services,” said Rachel Carroll, Director of Human Resources. “The recognition is so well deserved, and we greatly appreciate her wonderful contributions to the culture of teamwork.
McCormick began working at Henry County Medical Center in May 2013. She earned her certification in dietary management from Auburn University. She came to Henry County Medical Center with 31 years of experience. McCormick began as a Certified Dietary Manager prior to taking on the role of Director of Food Services. McCormick resides in Big Sandy, TN.
HCMC recognizes department leaders every quarter as well as selecting a department leader of the year at the annual Service Awards Banquet.
