Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center Marketing and Public Relations Department as well as the grant staff of the Paris-Henry County Healthcare Foundation recently received recognition in two different healthcare marketing award programs.
HCMC was selected as a winner in 24th annual Digital Health Awards® program. This competition — held each spring and fall — recognizes the world’s best digital health resources. Silence the Shame Behavioral Health Initiative received a Bronze Award for Digital Health – Social Media, Facebook. Those involved in the production and design of the winning entry were the Marketing and Public Relations Department, Crove Media, and the Paris-Henry County Healthcare Foundation grant staff.
“We were delighted to participate in the 24th annual Digital Health Awards competition, and were honored to be selected as a winner,” said Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “Our winning entry was chosen from nearly 700 entries judged by a panel of distinguished experts in digital health media.”
The Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), organizer of the Digital Health Awards, is a national information clearinghouse for professionals who work in consumer health fields. Other well-known HIRC programs include the annual National Health Information Awards (healthawards.com), which annually recognizes the nation’s best consumer health information (in non-digital formats).
Additionally, the Paris-Henry County Healthcare Foundation announced it was named among the winners of the 2022 Aster Awards. The Healthcare Foundation and Crove Media were recognized with a Gold Award for the GrowWell of West TN Vaccine Hesitancy Program for Crisis Management (COVID-19) Campaign. Additionally, they received a Silver Award for their social media campaign – Silence the Shame Behavioral Health Initiative. The Aster Awards are an elite national competition dedicated to recognizing healthcare marketing professionals for excellence in advertising, marketing and communications.
The Aster Awards, which were introduced back in 2002, offer the most inclusive groups and categories in healthcare advertising. This year’s competition included submissions from across the United States, as well as abroad. All entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and scored on multiple criteria, included creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal and execution.
Entries were judged by a diverse panel of industry experts and were required to score in the top tiers amongst similar sized organizations. For a full list of 2022 Aster Award winners, visit asterawards.com/winners.
