Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary collected pencils, notebooks, paper, and pencil boxes for the Henry County Family Resource Center to help students prepare for the school year.
“We want to thank the community for contributing to the Volunteer Auxiliary’s drive this year,” said Tory Daughrity, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “The Volunteer Auxiliary not only strives to make a difference at HCMC but in our community as well. This project is small, but so significant to students as they prepare for the new school year. This year around 300 items were collected.”
The items were given to the Family Resource Center prior to the Back to School Bash drive through held at the Fairgrounds for those needing school supplies.
The Volunteer Auxiliary at Henry County Medical Center is comprised of nearly 50 volunteers that serve across the organization. Auxiliary volunteers offer their time, talent and dedication throughout the hospital in patient care and clerical settings. Our volunteers come from unique backgrounds and share the common interest in helping others.
