The three students received this year’s HCMC Auxiliary scholarships to pursue medical degrees at the university or college of their choice in the fall.
PARIS, TN – Henry County Medical Center’s Volunteer Auxiliary awarded three, $2,000 scholarships to Henry County High School students during their May meeting, where the recipients and their parents were special guests.
The three recipients are Abigal St. Clair, Emily Lemonds, and Cherish Natividad Campos. The three students are graduating seniors from Henry County High School and will be attending a college or university in the fall, studying in a medical field. The students will be pursuing the following:
- Clair, daughter of David and Mary Jane St. Clair, will be attending Freed-Hardeman University.
- Lemonds, daughter of Jeremy and Andrea Lemonds, will be attending Murray State University pursuing a degree in Biology, declaring pre-medicine with hopes of becoming a physician.
- Campos, daughter of Brandilyn Gutierrez, will be attending Carson Newman University with the hopes of becoming a pediatric oncologist.
“We are pleased to recognize these three outstanding seniors from Henry County High School with scholarships so that they may continue their education,” said Carnell Browning, HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary member. “Each young lady is very deserving of this recognition and we wish them the best of luck in their pursuit of degrees in the medical fields of their choice.”
