Over the past few months, Henry County Medical Center has been engaged with a healthcare analytics company, Stratasan, to conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment for Henry County. A Community Health Needs Assessment is a systematic collection, analysis, and dissemination of information about the health of the community. The Health Summit is a key step in this wide-ranging process.
Our CHNA analyzed public health data and held listening sessions with many individuals in the community to gain a better understanding of the healthcare needs in our community. To ensure this Community Health Needs Assessment information improves the health status for Henry County for years to come, we are hosting a Community Health Summit designed to be a consensus building session with leaders of the area around significant health issues and ideas to improve health. During this meeting, we will share the results of the Community Health Needs Assessment and engage with community leaders like you in setting goals and actions.
