PARIS, TN – Often, when we are called out for an emergency we might forget to pack a cellphone charger. Our thoughts are geared toward getting to our loved ones involved in those emergencies as quickly as possible.
But, it is so important that we are able to communicate with family and friends when things do happen. The Patient and Family Advisory Council at Henry County Medical Center understands that and as one of their projects, they have taken on the idea of doing a collection drive for portable cellphone chargers to ensure that our patients and families can stay connected to loved ones while they are here.
During the months of June and July, Henry County Medical Center will be collecting portable cellphone chargers for those who may need them while they are visiting the hospital or in the ER. Cellphone charger donations may be dropped off in receptacles located in the Pink Petal Gift Shop, ER Waiting Room, or the HCMC Iris Café.
Please consider donating a charger to ease the stress of communication in a crisis for those families who are here at HCMC.
