Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center announced last month that Courtney Flowers has been named the new Director of Imaging Services. In this role, Flowers will coordinate HCMC’s imaging departments at both the hospital and the Diagnostic Center.
“HCMC has an amazing staff and they have all welcomed me with open arms,” said Flowers, who comes to HCMC from Mercy Health in Paducah, KY. “I feel so blessed to be a part of this community and healthcare team. I am committed to continuing and improving the quality of medical imaging in order to provide the highest quality care for our patients.”
Before serving as an MRI Technologist at Mercy Health, she was an MRI/CT Technologist at Murray-Calloway County Hospital. She was the Radiology Supervisor at Trigg County Hospital after beginning her career at Primary Care of Murray, KY as the Chief CT Technologist/Protocol Manager.
A native of Mayfield, KY, Flowers attended West Kentucky Community and Technical College in Paducah where she earned an associate of science degree in radiography in 2006. She also attended Murray State University where she completed seven semesters of Spanish as part of an independent study. Most recently, Flowers graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Science from Pima Medical Institute where she achieved a 4.0 GPA and earned a Director’s List Certificate of Recognition for High Achievement.
Flowers, who is certified in X-Ray, CT and MRI, plans to continue her education by adding a master’s degree in the near future. She is an active member of the Association for Medical Imaging Management and plans to take the Certified Radiology Administrator exam this fall.
A Mayfield native, she graduated from Mayfield High School in 1998. She and her husband spend most of their free time raising their triplets.

The Henry County Diagnostic Center is a 10,000 square foot facility which integrates state-of-the-art technology with convenience, comfort and communication to ensure that you have the best experience possible. This technically advanced Imaging facility is a place where our exceptional Radiologists read images from the most advanced digital imaging equipment available. This means that images are viewed electronically rather than on traditional film.
Digital imaging provides clearer, more detailed images. Patients are now able to have their outpatient exams done in a timely manner with easy access thanks to a patient drop off and close parking. Services offered at the facility include:
