PARIS, TN – Henry County Medical Center is excited to begin Phase 1 and 2 of the Cath Lab construction to grow forward with cardiology services for the community and region. The new construction will involve six phases that will take existing space and add both the new Cath Lab and an OR Angio Room to better serve our patients.
During phase one and two, the surgery waiting area and chapel located on the main floor of the hospital will be closed. Those allowed to wait for patients in the facility will be asked to wait on the second floor in the Same Day Surgery waiting area located to the left of the main elevators. Physicians will contact families by phone or visit in the patient’s room after surgery
Phase 1 and 2 of the project began on Saturday, September 12, with disruptions to this area expected to last until the beginning or mid-November. There will be some noise in the area during the first week of construction as well as some minor disruptions to services.
The first four phases of the construction should go through the beginning of March with actual construction of the two surgery areas to begin following these phases. Each phase allows for the next phase of the construction to occur because of utilizing space that is currently occupied by other departments or areas.
We apologize for any inconveniences during this time, but know they are in an effort to better serve you, our patients. To learn more, go to our website at www.hcmc-tn.org.
