Paris, TN – Henry County Medical Center is pleased to announce that David Barton Waters, MD, FACS, General Surgeon has joined the medical staff and has started seeing patients at HCMC Surgical Specialists located in the HCMC Kelley Clinic on Kelley Drive.

Dr. Waters is from Knoxville, TN and began practicing medicine in 1991. He attended UT Knoxville and medical school at UT Center for Health Services at UT Memphis. He did a fellowship in vascular surgery in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Waters is board certified in general surgery and specializes in laparoscopic surgery as well as minimally invasive surgery.

He and his wife, Debbie, have a 13-year-old daughter. He enjoys hunting and motorcycles in his spare time. Dr. Waters and his family are very excited to move to Paris.

“I liked the small town atmosphere and the hospital was very attractive to me,” said Dr. Waters. “It seemed like a perfect fit for my family and my practice. We are excited to be here and raise our daughter in this community.”
