Student Doctor Highlights
Kelsey Blundell is a fourth year osteopathic medical student at LMU-DCOM. She is originally from Murfreesboro, TN and for undergraduate studies majored in Biochemistry at The University of Memphis.
She is applying to Family Medicine residency programs that will further her training and career opportunities. Ultimately, she has long term goals of working, residing, and raising a family in a small rural community.
About the Community
Learn more about Paris, TN and all the jewels it has to offer. Paris is a growing city with a four-phased economy of agriculture, tourism, industry and retail trade. Located mid-way between Nashville and Memphis, Paris is the Southern Gateway to the Land-Between-the-Lakes National Outdoor Area. Paris is the home of the “World’s Biggest Fish Fry”, which is held the last full week of April each year to focus attention on Kentucky Lake and the many recreational and tourist facilities it has to offer. Henry County Medical Center is the largest employer in the county and the medical hub for this area.
