Heartsaver CPR, AED, and First Aid Training Wednesday, July 21, 2021 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. HCMC Classrooms 2 & 3 This includes Heartsavers CPR, AED and First Aid training and book as well as certification from the American Heart Association.  Cost is $60 per person and can be paid by cash or check on the day of the class. Checks can be made out to Henry County Medical Center. To sign up for the class or for more information call the HCMC Findline at 731-644-3463.

Multiple vendors will be on-site to showcase their health related products and services. Health screenings will be offered. HCMC will be in attendance offering free osteoporosis screenings. HCMC and Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation's services offered will be showcased. Event takes place at the Dresden Senior Center located at 598 Evergreen Street in Dresden.

Join the Henry County Prevention Coalition and participating sponsors including Henry County Medical Center and Paris Pediatrics for Prevention and Pets movie night showing "The Secret Life of Pets" at Atkins Porter Center and Dog Park. There will be free hot dogs and snacks as well as activities, games, and giveaways! Also offered will be Narcan Training, Prescription Drug Take Back, and Distracted Driving Simulator. Join us for a night of fun starting at 4 p.m. with the movie to be shown at dark. Be sure and bring your dogs too!!

Our Chronic Disease Management Program offers free screenings including total lipid panel, blood sugar, blood pressure, BMI  and A1c.  If a person has a chronic condition , smokes or is overweight, they can join the program for free. Participants are screened every three months and receive education about their chronic conditions. All patients must be fasting for 8 hours to participate in the screening. Screenings will be done by appointment only to provide social distancing. Masks are required.
