Annual Ed Roberts/Caring Hearts Cancer Survivors Dinner – An Evening of Hope and Celebration

PARIS, TENNESSEE – December 5, 2024, at 6:00 PM at Maplewood Baptist Church Cancer survivors and a guest are invited to gather for an evening of inspiration and joy at the Annual Ed Roberts/Caring Hearts Cancer Survivors Dinner. This cherished event, coordinated by founder Barbara Roberts, celebrates the strength and resilience of those impacted by cancer. Hosted at Maplewood Baptist Church, the dinner offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for survivors and supporters. Over the years, this event has grown to include more than 300 attendees, making it an annual tradition in Henry County.

More Than Just a Dinner

The heart of this event lies in the Caring Hearts Fund, a program of the Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation. The fund provides critical financial support to cancer patients, helping with co-pays, premiums, transportation, and other essential expenses. Every donation and sponsorship for the dinner ensures attendees can enjoy a meaningful evening filled with connection, delicious food, and thoughtful gifts.

The West Cancer Center & Research Institute of Paris and Henry County Medical Center come together to offer a support group for cancer patients and their caregivers every 2nd Thursday of each month. Lunch is provided. The group meets at the First Presbyterian Church in Paris at 11:30 a.m. For more information, call (731) 644-8215.

This free, once-a-month clinic for WTH patients provides expert care for mobility and assistive technology needs—no more long-distance travel for essential services!
