McLean-Pedersen Endowment Scholarship

The Paris and Henry County Healthcare Foundation is offering one scholarship of $6,000, payable over four years ($1,500 per year) to a graduate from McKenzie High School. The scholarship will be awarded to a student pursing a career as a nurse, radiology tech, paramedic, physical therapy tech, or a respiratory tech. Students must maintain a 2.75 grade point average to keep the scholarship. Applicants must be a natural born US Citizen residing in Tennessee and must have graduated from a High School in Carroll, Weakley or Henry counties within the preceding 4 years. Volunteer Auxiliary Tribute Scholarship

The HCMC Volunteer Auxiliary awards three scholarships to qualified high school seniors in the amount of $2,000 each.  To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be a legal resident of Henry County, TN
  • Be a graduating high school senior of the current school year
  • Intend to pursue a degree or certification in the medical field (excluding optometry, dentistry, and veterinary)

The application is available each year in the Guidance Office of Henry County High School after January 8 and through March 31.  Completed applications must be returned to the Guidance Office before April 6.  For more information download the scholarship application or contact the HCMC Volunteer Coordinator, at (731) 644-8267.
