Pediatrics

The Henry County Medical Center pediatrics unit specializes in children ages newborn to eighteen. A special menu is offered with foods that kids usually like.

A meal is provided for a care giver who stays with the child. Games, toys and video games and movies are provided. Churches and civic groups donate stuffed animals and blankets and various organizations donate children-themed pillowcases for them to take home upon discharge.

We have special pediatric monitors when blood pressure and respiration is tracked.
