Pediatric Services

The Henry County Medical Center pediatrics unit specializes in children ages newborn to eighteen. A special menu is offered with foods that kids usually like.

A meal is provided for a caregiver who stays with the child. We provide a bed or reclining chair for family members who stay with younger children. Games, toys, video games and movies are provided. Churches and various organizations and civic groups donate stuffed animals and blankets for patient usage.

We use monitors for blood pressure and respirations that are specifically designed for pediatric patients. For more information on our pediatrics unit at HCMC, please call 731-642-2411

Jameson Casteel-Rachel Lamb Memorial Library

Additionally, there is the Jameson Casteel-Rachel Lamb Memorial Library located at the 2nd Floor waiting room next to the unit. Donations of books and other items are available in the library for the children to utilize.
